Croatia's maritime authority has decided to temporarily limit the issuing of cabotage authorisation to all third-country (foreign-flagged) yachts and boats up to 24 metres in length, including gulet-type yachts. The decision took effect on 16 July 2026 and remains valid for three months, i.e. through approximately 16 October 2026. Charter operators and management companies trading foreign-flagged yachts up to 24m in Croatian waters should account for this temporary restriction; vessels over 24 metres are not affected by this decision.
